Reductive Figure drawing

A three hour drawing from start to "finish". There are still some things I would like to tweak, but one of my goals in the drawing was to be completely finished by the three hour mark.

I started off with brushing on some charcoal and then drawing the worst block-in ever! I remember clearly thinking that I should keep working on the construction of the figure, but foolishly I went ahead before getting it close to accurate.

I was at least happy with how pulling out the lights went, considering the poor block-in. I also love how her hand (which always remains a week part of the drawing) looks like a Lego hand.

And here is where I ended up after three hours. Nothing to write home about, but it's a good exercise in drawing.
